BACKGROUND: JOHNSON FAMILY

BACKGROUND: JOHNSON FAMILY

The Johnsons have two kids—a 5-year-old daughter and a 3-year-old son. Potty training was a breeze with their daughter, but their son? Not so much. Despite trying everything from sticker charts to special underwear, Mom feels stuck and frustrated—nothing seems to click.

GETTING STARTED

BACKGROUND: JOHNSON FAMILY

BACKGROUND: JOHNSON FAMILY

The Johnsons sign up for one month of concierge OT. Mom hops on a virtual call with the therapist to talk through what’s worked, what hasn’t, and how it’s all affecting their days. Together, they dig into the why behind the potty training struggles and start shaping a plan that actually fits her son’s needs.

CONFIDENCE & PROGRESS

With a better understanding in place, the therapist creates a simple, realistic plan tailored to the Johnsons’ daily life. From routine tweaks to visual supports, Mom now has clear steps—and ongoing check-ins make sure things stay on track.

CONFIDENCE & PROGRESS

CONFIDENCE & PROGRESS

With a solid plan in place and support just fingertips away, things start clicking and progress is made. Their son’s feeling proud, Mom’s not Googling potty tips at midnight, and everyone’s celebrating the little wins. Progress feels good—especially when you’re not doing it alone.

  • You’re in Control: As a parent, you know your child best. With concierge OT, you get direct, ongoing communication with your therapist. Whether you need advice, updates, or just someone to listen, your therapist is available to help when it matters most.
  • Cost-Effective and Simple: Forget about insurance headaches, co-pays, or surprise bills. For a flat monthly fee ($250/month), you get unlimited access to a licensed OT, offering you peace of mind with predictable, clear costs.
  • Personalized, Ongoing Support: You’ll receive continuous feedback and strategies tailored to your child’s needs, so you’ll always know where things stand and how to move forward. It’s therapy that’s built around your family, not a one-size-fits-all approach.

Meet Kaleigh Lewis, a licensed occupational therapist (and mom who gets it). Based in Michigan, Kaleigh brings not only clinical expertise but real-life parenting experience to the table. As a mom of two young and energetic boys, she knows firsthand how overwhelming it can be to juggle parenting and therapy—and how frustrating the traditional, insurance-driven system can feel.

After seeing families struggle to get the support they truly need in clinic-based models, Kaleigh set out to do things differently. She believes this concierge approach to occupational therapy will put parents back in the driver’s seat—offering flexible, empowering, and deeply personalized care that fits real life.

Her credentials? Just as impressive:

  • Master of Science in Occupational Therapy
  • Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Medicine
  • Minors in Psychology & Athletic Coaching

Not at all. No diagnosis? No problem. We’re not here to slap on labels—we’re here to help your child (and you) thrive. Every kid has their “stuff” (hello, big feelings and bedtime drama), and you don’t need a medical file to prove it.

With our concierge model, you decide what kind of support makes sense for your family. Whether your child has a diagnosis, might be heading that way, or you’re just tired of posting in mom groups hoping for helpful advice (and getting 57 conflicting opinions instead)—we’ve got you.

Come as you are. No hoops. No hassle. Just real help.

So much more than most people realize!

Our virtual concierge OT supports both kids and parents with real-life challenges, like:

  • Big feelings & meltdowns – Learn co-regulation strategies to help your child stay calm (and help you stay sane).
  • Sensory needs – Support for kids who are “extra sensitive” or always on the move.
  • School success – Focus, attention, organization, and classroom readiness.
  • Homework battles – End the power struggles and build productive routines.
  • Screen time limits – Create healthier tech boundaries (without total rebellion).
  • Morning & bedtime routines – Smoother starts and calmer nights.
  • Daily independence – Dressing, brushing teeth, potty training, and more.
  • Transitions – Support through big (and small) changes, from new schools to new siblings.
  • Feeding challenges – Picky eating, gagging, food refusal, or mealtime chaos? We've got strategies.
  • Sleep struggles – Help with falling asleep, staying asleep, and creating consistent routines.
  • Parent confidence – You’ll get tools, coaching, and support to feel more in control—every step of the way.

For $250/month, you get direct access to a licensed OT who actually gets what real parenting looks like (yes, even the snack battles and bedtime negotiations). No waitlists, no judgements, no stuffy clinics—just expert support, straight answers, and strategies that work in the middle of your beautiful chaos. Because winging it only gets you so far.

The best part? You're in control. No long-term contracts—start, pause, or cancel your membership at the end of any month. Flexibility is part of the deal, but because of this, refunds aren't available.

Membership fees are processed securely through our online portal, SimplePractice, where you can easily pay using a credit or debit card.

Yes! The membership covers your entire family—whether you have one child or five. The virtual time each month is designed to support your parenting and your child’s development, but keep in mind that time limitations may impact progress, especially if there are multiple children or complex needs. In these cases, we recommend subscribing to our membership for a minimum of 3 months to make noteworthy progress. We’ll help you prioritize what’s most important to make the most of your sessions.

  • New moms (and dads!) who want to build a strong foundation in their child’s first year and confidently support major developmental milestones.
  • Families with kids who are struggling with routines like bedtime, mealtime, potty training, or getting out the door without daily meltdowns.
  • Parents of neurodivergent children (diagnosed or not) who want personalized strategies that make real life feel more doable and less overwhelming.
  • Parents seeking extra support for kids who are struggling in school—whether it’s focus, handwriting, transitions, or just keeping up.
  • Families looking to cut back on screen time and create healthier daily rhythms—with a therapist offering structure, ideas, and accountability along the way.
  • Parents navigating big emotions, sensory sensitivities, or behavior challenges—feeling stuck and unsure of what actually helps.
  • Parents who want to learn how to actually play with their kids—building connection, confidence, and a stronger parent-child relationship.
  • Parents feeling overwhelmed trying to balance it all—work, home, kids, self-care—looking for realistic strategies to manage daily stress and create a sense of balance.
  • Parents who need mental health support to manage the pressure, anxiety, and stress that come with parenting, with tools to maintain their own well-being while supporting their child’s growth.
  • Busy caregivers who are tired of bouncing between providers, waitlists, or cookie-cutter therapy that doesn’t really fit their child.
  • Parents looking for expert guidance and reassurance without the pressure of clinic visits, insurance red tape, or long-term commitments.
  • Families who want practical, everyday tools and ongoing support to create real progress—right at home, where it matters most.

Not seeing your exact situation listed? That’s okay—every family’s journey looks different, and occupational therapy can support a wide range of needs. Reach out today for a free 15-minute discovery call to find out how this model could work for you.

  • Severe Physical Disabilities: When a child has significant physical impairments that require hands-on, clinic-based therapies for mobility, strength, or fine motor skills.
  • Complex Medical Needs: If your child has a medical condition (e.g., cerebral palsy, neurological disorders) that requires a highly specialized, structured treatment plan in a clinical setting with medical oversight.
  • Need for Formal Diagnoses: If you need to pursue or confirm a formal diagnosis for your child in order to access specialized resources, insurance benefits, or educational accommodations.
  • Post-Surgery or Injury Rehabilitation: If your child is recovering from surgery or a serious injury that requires physical rehabilitation, equipment, or intensive therapy that can only be managed in a clinic.
  • Severe Sensory Processing Disorders (SPD): If your child has SPD that requires intensive sensory integration therapy that is best delivered in a medical setting with specialized equipment.
  • Speech or Physical Therapy Needs: When your child requires concurrent therapy for speech delays or physical impairments that may be better addressed with specific services that are beyond OT alone.
  • Urgent or Crisis Situations: When you need immediate, hands-on support for your child’s safety or mental health crisis, such as self-injurious behavior, or when a child is in danger of harming themselves or others.
  • Insurance or Legal Requirements: If your child’s therapy needs require insurance reimbursement and the therapy must be provided through a traditional medical model to meet coverage criteria.

Disclaimer : Every program has its limitations. While our concierge occupational therapy is designed to provide flexible, virtual support, we acknowledge and respect the benefits of in-person therapy for certain needs. Our therapists are unable to provide hands-on interventions or specialized training that may require physical presence or equipment. We recommend consulting with your child’s pediatrician or specialists to ensure you’re following the course of care that best supports your child, family, and various medical needs to achieve the most effective treatment.

You’re not alone. It’s pronounced:
kawn-see-AIRZH (rhymes with “beige”)
Sounds fancy—but all it means here is personal, flexible, parent-centered support that actually works.

Parenting is the journey of growing alongside your child.

MEET YOUR OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Hi there! I'm Kaleigh Lewis—owner and solo therapist behind Mind & Motion PLLC. As both a licensed occupational therapist and a mom, I’m passionate about helping families feel supported, empowered, and confident. I look forward to walking alongside you in your parenting journey and helping you create meaningful progress right at home.

QUALIFICATIONS

I earned my Master of Science in Occupational Therapy and Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Medicine from Saginaw Valley State University in 2020, with minors in Psychology and Athletic Coaching. I’m a registered and licensed occupational therapist in the state of Michigan, dedicated to supporting families with evidence-based, personalized care.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

My professional experience includes extensive work supporting autistic and neurodivergent children as an occupational therapist, including time spent collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in ABA-based environments—always with a focus on honoring each child's unique strengths, needs, and sensory profile.

PERSONAL BACKGROUND

Outside of work, I’m a proud mom to two energetic young boys who keep me on my toes and inspire much of my approach to family-centered care. I’m a former collegiate swimmer and grew up playing competitive softball and basketball—so staying active (and a little competitive) is in my nature. I deeply value quality time with family, providing meaningful, high-quality care, and always striving to be the best version of myself—both personally and professionally.

MY GOALS FOR MIND & MOTION

At Mind & Motion, my mission is to offer the kind of care families actually need—support that meets you where you are, adapts to your chaos, and prioritizes your mental health right alongside your child’s development. The goal is to give parents real tools, real flexibility, and real progress—without the pressure of perfection. I’m here to be that next-level option when it feels like you’ve tried everything. You don’t need to have it all figured out—you just need the right support.
